   I am often asked the question ‘What makes a good school?’ Is it the pupils, the teachers, the facilities, the curriculum? The obvious answer is a combination of all of these things and yet the answer is different for every school. Just as each school is unique so too is every child’s educational experience reflecting as it does their individual personalities. One thing Dubai College strives to achieve for every child is a positive experience of learning and personal development – the ‘DC experience’.

The DC experience is about providing opportunities for students to develop their talents and to discover new ones. To thrive children need to be challenged and inspired - in the classroom, on the sports field, on the stage – as they in turn aspire to be the leaders and shapers of tomorrow.

Dubai College has a tradition of academic success. But DC is about much, much more than ‘A’ level and GCSE results. The co-curriculum is an essential, core element of life in the school and students are as determined and ambitious on the sports field, performing on stage or supporting a plethora of community projects as they are studying history, science or music. Active participation in the extensive activities programme is the key to success in the classroom.
