   Target Engineering's Mechanical - Oil & Gas Division serves the Oil & Gas Sectors, the Authority Departments for Water and Electricity, and Fuel & Gas Distribution Companies. It undertakes specialized design, engineering, procurement and fabrication / construction & installation of Process Skids / Piping, Steel Structures and Heavy Equipment Installations. in both onshore and offshore locations.

The company's first steel structure project was in 1977, when it built the ADNOC Steel Warehouse & Pipe Fabrication Workshop in Ruwais. Since then it has undertaken several major projects, notable being the New Transport Yard for ADMA-OPCO in Das Island, the Abu Dhabi Ship Building Steel Structure Workshop, the Ruwais Common Fire Training Ground for TAKREER, the Jabel Dhana Tank Farm project for ADCO, ADGAS - Offshore Associated Gas (OAG) Project in Das Island, the Unleaded Gasoline Project for TAKREER, and recently the Green Diesel Project for GASCO in the Ruwais Refinery. Ongoing projects in Ruwais area include the Ruwais Refinery Expansion Phase 2 for TAKREER, Structural, Mechanical and Piping Works (East Area) for GASCO and the NGL-4 Sea Water Cooling System for GASCO.

Fabrication facilities include workshops in Mussafah and Ghayathi (Ruwais) with a total area of 37,000 sq.m with a capacity of 18,000 tons per year of steel fabrication & installation and about 1 Million inch diameter of piping works combined with on site works. The production facilities are gradually being moved to the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi, ICAD III under the banner of Target Steel Industries. The office and production faciliites at ICAD III are on a 52,000 sq.m. area with access to inner harbour affording convenient transportation by sea directly to onshore / offshore project sites.

The Division has its own Design & Engineering team and the fabrication facilities are NB and ASME R, PP, U, U2, A & S certified.
