   The Safety Services Group was established in 1993 with the merger of Safety Marine Services - Sharjah, U.A.E., Safety Audit Services - United Kingdom and Safety Technical Services Company Ltd. - Sultanate of Oman. The group was formed to tap the vast equipment demand and services of the Middle East and Africa.

For this reason the group established, Safety Technical Services Est. - Abu Dhabi, Seatronix Marine Services - Dubai, Safety Marine Equipment - Dubai and Al Hadidi Marine Equipment - Sharjah. The group is a member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) in the United Kingdom.

As a company dedicated to offering safe, quality products at realistic prices, Safety Services Group is well known for its fast, reliable services, backed by highly experienced professionals who care, with a cosmopolitan staff of over 50 employees from 15 countries worldwide.

The company engineers have years of experience in Crane Testing, Supply and Certification of all kinds of Lifting Equipment in accordance with the UAE Federal Law and International Safety standards.

The group has now expanded its operations with a wide range of quality products and services to meet the vast requirmeents of Marine, Lifting, OIl and Gas Industries across the Europe, Middle East and Asian countries.

The strict adherence of the group to the safety of the equipment tested or supplied is met with the In-house 100 Tonne Tensile Test Bed for carrying out Proof Load Testing and Loose Lifting Equipment Testing facilities.

A total area of 50,000 sq. feet is currently being fully utilised by the Head Office in Sharjah. The group plans to install an 800-tonne Test Bed as part of its Workshop expansion programme.

Belt Slings

The in-house sling manufacturing facilities, produces Belt Slings up to and including Four Ply by 48 inches wide at any given length in accordance with British Standards. The overalls capacity for steel wire rope sling manufacturing ranges from 1.5mm to 115mm Diameter in accordance to British Standards.

The company is the first in the Middle East to have the manufacturing facility for slings with Steel Swage Sockets. The other speciality products include Chain Slings and Fittings, Shackles, Anchors, Anchor Chain and accessories, Cargo and Safety Nets, Pilot Ladders, Synthetic Ropes, Mooring Tails, Fire Extinguishers, Breathing Apparatus and other related Safety Equipment. Various training programmes offered by the group includes First Aid, H2S, Fire Fighting, HSE Awareness, Site Safety Awareness, Desert Driving, Site Risk Assessment, Crane and Fork Lift Operation, Slinging & Rigging etc. are conducted by qualified multilingual Professionals.

The Group's Marine Electronic Division is providing service & supply of quality products supported by expert personnel.

They supply a variety of Navigation, Communication, Automation, General Engineering Spares & Equipment.

This includes Radar, GPS, Gyro Compass, VHF & SSB Radio etc.

In 1989, the group commenced its Oil & Gas division bringing together pipeline and valve expertise to broaden its scope in the Middle East within a short period, the division has secured and successfully completed projects for prestigious clients in the U.A.E., Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman. The group stocks Pipeline Valves, Fittings, Gaskets, Mechanical Seals, Steel Plates, Forming Sheets, Banding Straps, Clips, Fastners, Anodes, Electrical and Electro-Mechanical Rig spare parts etc.

The company has extensive sourcing tie-ups in Japan, Far East, Europe and the USA. With efficient supply chain management principles, the group assures clients, professional assistance on a day-to-day basis.
