   Anaya Is a contemporary women’s wear designer Label. The collection was launched in Dubai in 2011. Since then, it has been picked up from leading magazines in the UAE like GRAZIA and Harper’s Bazaar and seen in many celebrities for its fashion forward pieces.

The Designer/Creative Director – Chathuri Samaraweera’s work reflects a contemporary, Feminine handwriting with unique cuts and fabric manipulations which brings out a product thats different yet wearable.She has a degree in fashion design from the prestigious Fashion institute of design and merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles California and work experience with the top designer labels like BCBG Max Azria and True Meaning in the United States.

Chathuri Won the Fashion and Accessory Designer of the year 2014 award. The award is a prestigious award presented by UAE’s leading Fashion Publication group (ITP publications).

She was featured in Fortune (Arabia) magazine as one of the top five emerging designers of the region in 2012.

She was also awarded the International Young Fashion Entrepreneur award from the British council during london fashion week in february 2010 .

The word ANAYA means completely free in Sanskrit. The graphical representation of the logo which is embedded with lotus petal motifs carries the idea of freedom through. ANAYA label caters to the contemporary woman, with a strong sense of individuality, style and independence. All the pieces our created with rich silks, cottons and natural fibers sourced from Europe with great attention to detail. The collections are produced in small quantities in her Dubai based studio with highly skilled artisans offering exclusive/limited edition collections to her customers. The effortless, soft drapery makes you feel liberated and most of all lets the inner beauty shine through.
